We pride ourselves on our ability to work together as a team. With careful cooperative planning and organization, we are able to deliver incomparable results. What sets us apart from our competitors is that we are a family oriented company and hold true to our core values. Each team member is respected for their unique set of skills and their role in the company.
“With themed work, you want to work with people who understand your goals and parameters and deliver accordingly. Edge does that and makes it even better.”
Our artisans cover a wide range of tasks, as every job is different. They are skilled in themed construction, painting, and resourcing unique materials. Themed construction requires a specific set of skills and knowledge of working material that we implement into our projects. Theming can be anything from creating a realistic rock texture to applying aging and character to a building façade. Each element is equally important in bringing the project to life and our artisans provide the skills to do so.
Shop fabrication is for project elements that do not need to be built on site. These include but are not limited to our exhibit models, sculptures, and smaller naturalistic elements like individual rocks or trees. Our team works diligently to create the most realistic features well above and beyond what is asked.
Artistic Concrete Sculptures
Concrete sculpting is our pride and joy! Our ability to create just about anything from concrete is what sets us apart from our competitors. We specialize in creating formational rockwork facades and features like concrete trees and mudbanks.
Being a Concrete Nozzleman requires a high level of understanding the physics of the job and weight loads. It takes careful planning and coordination to apply the right amount of concrete for footing and walls. Our employees in this position are quite skilled and well-practiced in the craft.
Waterproofing are what make our projects last over the years. They provide a level of protection from the weather and elements that keeps our builds looking fresh and new. Our employees know the importance of this position as we apply it to every project. It takes a special amount of careful application and knowledge to do this job the way we do.
Steel workers are one of the most important members of our team. Tying rebar is how we shape our concrete structures. Whether they are rocks, naturalistic elements, or parts of a building, the steel must be tied in first. This not only requires an artistic and visionary mind set but also a strong understanding of the concrete forming process. All our concrete work could not be done without our steel workers.
